Version 2.7.0-RC1 introduces minor language changes and provides several library improvements and many bug fixes.
Requirements
The Scala software distribution is best installed on a Unix or Windows system. It requires version 1.4 or later of a Java runtime environment (Sun JRE or IBM JRE).
